Hi, I'm an artist and erstwhile land manager based in the UK with an interest in flying, photography and has a dog called Luna.

I haven't always painted, in my early years I seemed to spend most of my time designing and flying R/C model aircraft, but somehow ended up studying Rural Estate Management at The Royal Agricultural College Cirencester, and started out in land management.

After a quick diversion into advertising via a Scientific Illustration course (1986), I then spent a year in New Zealand and Australia. What followed was 30 years of land and estate management, interspersed with a Natural Resource Management MSc (2004), a Geographical Information Systems MSc (2009) and wildlife art. Elected a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society 2004.

My interest in flying has persisted since my early days of hang-gliding, through gliding, to getting my PPL(A) in 2011. I've part-built a couple of aircraft and owned one and am now looking keenly at the developments in SSDR aircraft.

With the current coronavirus situation, I'm taking the opportunity to explore my art and my natural way of painting. We'll see what transpires.
